There is still a few days to enter the random draw to visit Lake O’Hara in Yoho National Park this summer. Parks Canada introduced the new random draw system to allocate reservations for the Lake O’Hara day-use bus in 2020, and to help ensure all potential visitors have a chance at securing a seat.

Those interested in visiting Lake O’Hara can submit an application using the Parks Canada Reservation Service before February 29, 2020. There is also a non-refundable application fee of $10.

Applications will be drawn at random and successful applicants will be notified in early March. Parks Canada said revenue generated from application fees will be reinvested into Lake O’Hara and Yoho National Park to help protect the environment and support high-quality visitor experiences.
